Worship
Opportunities
Sunday
Worship: 8:15 a.m
& 10:45 a.m.
Sunday Education Hour:
9:30-10:30 a.m. (Children and Adults classes)
Bible-based: Services of worship are conducted using
Evangelical Lutheran Worship and are based solidly upon the Holy
Scriptures. Lessons from the bible set
the theme for each week’s services and are the grounding for proclamation. We love music and include traditional as
well as more contemporary songs in worship.
Our services are energetic expressions of our conviction that it is
God’s Holy Spirit that calls and gathers us for this service.
Holy Communion:
We offer Holy Communion each Sunday at one or the other of our two
services. Our communion table is open
to all baptized Christians who believe that our Lord Jesus is truly present in
the elements of bread and wine. He
comes to offer us cleansing from sin, salvation, and new life. Worshippers may choose white wine from the
chalice or wine or juice in individual cups.
We welcome the very young to come to the altar with their families for a
blessing.
Midweek Services:
During the seasons of advent and lent we gather on Wednesday evenings for
a light supper and a time of evening worship around themes that are appropriate
to the season.
Handicap
Accessible: The
church has wheelchair ramps and also an elevator for your use.
Bathroom facilities are also handicap accessible.
Nursery
Service
Available Each Week During the 10:45 a.m. Service
There is a volunteer scheduled to work in the nursery each week during
the 10:45 a.m. service. A parent can drop off a child at the nursery
between 10:40 a.m. and 10:50 a.m. After that, the volunteer will
probably have come up to the sanctuary, and their assistance can be
requested by asking an usher.
Available
for your use:
Hearing assistive devices are available for anyone who wishes
to use them. We also have large print bulletins available, as well as, large print
devotional
booklets.
