Join us for Daily Faith-filled Hope

Here at LCGS, daily scripture verses and inspirational quotes are provided to aid in our spiritual formation.

Daily encounters with the Word of God help one to be reassured of and come into God’s presence as well as to be more intentional about devotion and prayer, thus becoming a way of life.

We are blessed and renewed daily by God who loves and cares for us. Being present with God’s Word in prayer and devotion assures us of this unwavering and awesome love as God speaks to us through the Scriptures.

The Messages of Hope, sent via text each day, focus on one to a few Bible verses on which you can reflect and carry with you throughout the day, encountering God’s presence.

May your faith be blessed and grow through the power of the Holy Spirit, graced upon us through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Events

Come join us at any of our on-line or in person events. All are welcome.

On-site worship continues with one service at 9:30 am. Masks are recommended. This policy will honor our love and care for each other, and respect for this very serious pandemic.

We strongly urge you to be cautious about coming to on-site worship if you are compromised in health in any way. If you are at all hesitant to come, due to any number of common-sense factors, we encourage you to stay home instead and watch Family-to-Family Worship online.

Serving

Even though we are unable to bring the dead to life, as God can, and did through his Son, Jesus Christ, we can be the hands and voice of Jesus in the world.

What does this mean? Well, we can provide comfort, support, and care for others in need. We can even provide a helping hand or prayers and words of encouragement. God has blessed each of us with different gifts and talents. We start every day assured of God’s love, compassion, and forgiveness, expressed in the life, death and resurrection of his Son, Jesus Christ. What an awesome opportunity we have then to use our gifts to help and care for others, just as Jesus did and does!

Volunteer & Donate

The Holy Spirit moves through each of us in unique and amazing ways. Many other opportunities exist here at Good Shepherd for serving in worship, the upkeep of our facilities, etc. All are welcomed to serve however you can.

Youth Ministries

LCGS Youth is a group of young people in grades six through twelve who play, pray, learn, and grow closer to God. We meet at least once a month on Sunday afternoons in fellowship and prayer. We believe in strong faith, strong relationships, and that Jesus is always with us at home, at school, at work, at play, everywhere.

Preschool

Each child is unique and special in God’s eyes and in ours. Our approach is one of Christian love as we guide children to develop their full potential spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, socially, and physically.

Although our school is associated with Lutherans, all children are welcome. GSLCP welcomes students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin.

All activities encourage development of self-esteem and cooperation. Independence and creativity will always be encouraged. Activities include a broad range of experiences including language art, cognitive thinking, deductive reasoning, music, sensory fields, dramatic play, and physical development.
